Dustin Mowe, President

Dustin Mowe, Portocork America's President, has been in the cork business for more than nine years. Mowe, who brings more than a decade of sales expertise to the company, started his career with AT&T Wireless and then entered the wine business with Sabate Cork Company before joining Portocork America to spearhead the US sales and marketing effort. He was promoted to president in 2007.

For more than five years, Mowe has been responsible for Portocork's sales and marketing direction and in late 2006 he spearheaded a complete overhaul of Portocork's production facility with an investment of nearly $1 million in new equipment. "Today cork companies are either moving into other products or pulling in the reins and cutting costs. Our significant investment clearly demonstrates how strongly we believe in natural cork as well as our commitment to supplying the very best cork available worldwide," said Mowe.

A native of Burney, California, Mowe studied business before moving to the Napa Valley to live and work in the wine industry. An avid outdoorsman and athlete, on his own time he might be found riding motorcycles, bicycles, or enjoying the company of his lovely wife Renee, Daughter Makayla and son Tristan.

Curt Goodsill, Special Advisor/Client Services

A native of Hawaii and 33-year veteran of the cork business, Curt Goodsill landed his first job out of college at Latchford Packaging which was a prominent cork producer in the US at the time. He rose through the company eventually assuming the role of General Manager during his decade-long tenure before moving to Lafitte Cork & Capsule where he continued his career for another ten years before joining Portocork America.

After working for more than ten years at Portocork America, Goodsill transitioned from the role of President to Special Advisor/Client Services providing Portocork's customers with unparalleled continuity and expertise in the cork industry.

The most significant advancements that Goodsill has witnessed throughout his wine industry career are the increasing quality of the wines and the investment by the cork industry in science and research which has resulted in the ability to detect, measure and calibrate TCA. Goodsill enjoys tennis, cycling and, of course, really great wine.
